Mary 's father was John SEDDON and her mother was Fanny Hart. Her paternal grandparents were John Seddon and Ann THOMASON; her maternal grandparents were James Hart and Mary. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, James, William, Joseph, Robert, Alfred, Elizabeth and Fanny. She was the fourth oldest of the ten known children.
