Thomas Kirtley

Thomas was born about 1881 in Penshaw, Co. Durham.¹ Thomas' father was Edward Kirtley and his mother was Mary Ann Gray. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Robert, William, Ann and Abigail. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James.
