James Higson

James was born about 1841 in Rumworth, Lancashire.¹ James' father was Thomas Higson and his mother was Sarah Lawton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Higson and Mary Forest. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Alice and Mary. He was the second oldest of the four known children.
