Joseph HUGHES

Joseph was born about May 1869 in Warrington Hill, Durham, England.¹ Joseph's father was John Hughes and his mother was Maria THOMASON. His maternal grandparents were JONATHAN THOMASON and Mary Higson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Jonathan , Peter, Henry, Mary, Alice and Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the nine known children.
