Philippa was born on September 13th, 1691 in Quethiock, Cornwall.1   Philippa's father was William Doney and her mother was Julian Toms.  She had eight brothers and three sisters, named William, William, George, Christian, John, Stephen, Nathan, Richard, Margaret, Mary and Ann.  She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 20 on April 18th, 1712 in Quethiock, Cornwall.1
