John Brown

John was born about 1863 in Mickley Square, Northumberland.¹ John's father was Anthony Brown and his mother was Ann Dickenson. His maternal grandparents were John Dickinson and Phebe Bell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Anthony, Elizabeth, Annie, Phoebe and Hannah. He was the oldest of the six children.
