John was born about 1837 in Renhold, Bedfordshire.1   John's father was George James Barker and his mother is Elizebeth.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, James, Samuel, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.  John is no longer alive.
