James William Prickett

James was born about February 1869 in Southwark, London.¹ James' father was James William Prickett and his mother was Esther Askey Wise. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Prickett and Lydia Johnson; his maternal grandparents were William Thomas Wise and Esther Askey. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, William, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children.
