Silvester was born about August 7th, 1720 in Exford, Somerset and his baptism took place on August 7th, 1720 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.1   Silvester's father was Robert Williams and his mother was Mary Addicot. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Amos and Joan.  He was the second oldest of the four known children.
