Robert was born about June 24th, 1722 in Exford, Somerset and his baptism took place on June 24th, 1722 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.1   Robert's father was Robert Williams and his mother was Mary Addicot. He had two brothers and a sister, named Silvester, Amos and Joan.  He was the third oldest of the four known children.
