Martha was born about February 12th, 1797 in Porlock, Somerset and her baptism took place on February 12th, 1797 in Porlock Parish Church, Somerset.1 2   Martha's father was Gregory Tidball and her mother is Elizabeth Pearse.  Her paternal grandparents were WALTER TIDBALL and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Elizabeth, Anne and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the six known children.  Martha is no longer alive.
