Harriet's father was William Tidboald and her mother was Jane Smith. Her paternal grandparents were William Tidboald and Mary Norman. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Thomas, William, James, Henry, Isaac, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth, Fanny and Eliza. She died about December 15th, 1835 in Winsford, Somerset, England. She was buried on December 20th, 1835 in Winsford Parish Church, Somerset, England.²¹
