James Thorne

James was born about November 1st, 1835 in Exford, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on November 15th, 1835 in Exford Parish Church, Somerset.¹² James' father was Richard Thorne and his mother was Elizabeth Skinner. His paternal grandparents were Richard Thorne and Elizabeth Parkin. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, Mary, Ann and Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the six children.
