Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth was born about April 1st, 1765 and her baptism took place on April 7th, 1765 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹

Elizabeth's father was William Scott and her mother was Elizabeth Vichary. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Scott and Ann. She died due to a medical problem, hydrothorax, on June 6th, 1849 in Exford, Somerset, England. She was buried on June 10th, 1849 in Exford Parish Church, Somerset.²³

  C 1796 - She married William Mewden.
  6 June 1849 - She was a widow when she died aged 75 in Exford of hydrothorax six months. Her name was shown as Newton (death certificate).
  9 June 1849 - Mary Wilkey from Exford, who had been present at her death, advised the registrar (death certificate).
  10 June 1849 - She was buried aged 75 as Elizabeth Newton at Exford parish church (info from Mike Browning).
