  Based on census record for James Charles in 1881 where Martha b abt 1819 is described as step aunt, possibly Martha is sister of John and Isaac was regarded as John's step son.
  
  However, Martha is shown as widow in 1881, which if true, confuses matters.

Isaac's father is <Unknown> and his mother was Martha Rawle. His maternal grandparents were John Rawle and Joan Taylor. He was an only child. Isaac is no longer alive.
