William RAWLE

William was born about 1853 in Wick, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ William's father was John Rawle and his mother was Mary POOLE. His paternal grandparents were John Rawle and Joan Taylor; his maternal grandparents were HUGH POOLE and MARY HOOPER. He had six brothers and a sister, named David, Jonathan, Edward, John, Thomas, James and Martha. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
