William Edward POOLE

William Edward was born about April 1900 in Bristol.¹ William Edward's father was Charles Thomas POOLE and his mother was Emma Amelia Godwin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas POOLE and Jane Sullivan; his maternal grandparents were Frederick George Godwin and Maria Hawker. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Albert Charles, William Thomas, George Henry, Frederick John, Charles Francis, Edith Maud and Beatrice Ethel. He was the youngest of the eight children.
