HUGH was born about 1779 in Cutcombe, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on February 7th, 1779 in Monksilver Parish Church.1 2  HUGH's father was James Poole and his mother was MARY Westarn.  His paternal grandfather was Hugh Poole and his paternal grandmother is Rachel; his maternal grandparents were Edward Western and Joan Larcombe. He had three brothers named James, John and William.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died about January 1840 in Exford, Somerset, England.  He was buried on February 1st, 1840 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.3 4
