William NEWTON

William was born about 1870 in Bedwelty, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹ William's father was Francis NEWTON and his mother was Sarah Harris. His paternal grandparents were Richard NEWTON and Sarah Sedgbeer. He had a brother and five sisters, named Frederick, Ann, Sarah, Mary, Agnes and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
