Frederick William NEWTON

Frederick was born about July 20th, 1824 in Minehead, Somerset and his baptism took place there on July 20th, 1824.¹ Frederick's father was Richard NEWTON and his mother was Sarah Sedgbeer. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM NEWTON and ELIZABETH NK; his maternal grandparents are William Sedgbeer and Mary. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Francis, Felix , Jesse, William, Henry, Louisa and Llewellyn. He was the oldest of the eight children.
