Francis NEWTON

Francis was born about June 6th, 1827 and his baptism took place on June 6th, 1827 in Minehead, Somerset.¹ Francis' father was Richard NEWTON and his mother was Sarah Sedgbeer. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM NEWTON and ELIZABETH NK; his maternal grandparents are William Sedgbeer and Mary. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, Felix , Jesse, William, Henry, Louisa and Llewellyn. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
