Elizabeth was born about July 1st, 1854 in Witheridge, Combeshead, Somerset, and her baptism took place on July 16th, 1854 in Exton Parish Church, Somerset, England.1  Elizabeth's father was William Holloway and her mother was Charlotte Wood.  Her paternal grandparents were George Holloway and Joan May?. She had a brother named William.  She was the older of the two children.
