Jane Mahe Harris

Jane was born about 1868 in West Anstey, Devon.¹ Jane's father was John Gaydon Harris and her mother was Sarah Mogford. Her paternal grandparents were James Harris and Sally Gaydon; her maternal grandparents were John Mogford and Sarah. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John, James, William, Lucy, Mary, Ellen, Betsey and Salome. She was the seventh oldest of the nine children.
