Harry HOWELL

Harry was born about 1859 in Countisbury, Devon, England.¹ Harry's father was Handworth Howell and his mother was Betsey NEWTON. His paternal grandparents were William A S Howell and Betsy Howell; his maternal grandparents were James NEWTON and Grace Newton. He had three brothers and a sister, named Archie, Melvin Hansworth, Willie Fairfax and Alida Bessy. He was the second oldest of the five children.
