Mary was born about July 1st, 1833 in Winsford, Somerset, England and her baptism took place on July 21st, 1833 in Winsford Parish Church, Somerset, England.1 2  Mary's father is John Baker and her mother is Emma Bristowe. She had two brothers and four sisters, named william, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Eliza and Jane.  She was the oldest of the seven known children.  Mary is no longer alive.
