Thomas was born about May 1st, 1815 in Winsford, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on May 28th, 1815 in Winsford Parish Church, Somerset, England.1   Thomas' father was William Tidboald and his mother was Jane Smith.  His paternal grandparents were William Tidboald and Mary Norman.  He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, William, James, Henry, Isaac, Harriet, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth, Fanny and Eliza.  He died about May 1898 in Winsford, Somerset, England.2
