Walter was born about May 24th, 1769 in Exford, Somerset and his baptism took place on May 24th, 1769 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.1   Walter's father was Richard Tidball and his mother was Jane Dunscombe.  His paternal grandparents were Walter Tidball and Elizabeth.  He had three brothers named William, Robert? and John.  He was the youngest of the four known children.  He died about August 1845 in Somerset, England.2
