Grace was born about October 12th, 1777 in Exford, Somerset and her baptism took place on October 12th, 1777 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.1   Grace's father was William Tidball and her mother is Grace Bale.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter Tidball and Elizabeth.  She had a brother and five sisters, named John, Mary, Betty, Nancy, Jane and Joan.  She was the third oldest of the seven known children.  Grace is no longer alive.
