Elizabeth Thorne

Elizabeth was born about July 1829 and her baptism took place on July 2nd, 1829 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹ Elizabeth's father was John Thorne and her mother was Sarah Greenslade. Her maternal grandfather was William Greenslade and her maternal grandmother is Mary. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Richard, John, Jacob, William, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Jane, Charlot, Eliza and Maria. She was the third oldest of the twelve children.
