Eli NEWTON

Eli was born in 1848 and his baptism took place on February 10th, 1848 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹ Eli's father was ROBERT NEWTON and his mother was JANE POOLE. His paternal grandparents were William Newton and Elizabeth NK; his maternal grandparents were HUGH POOLE and Mary HOOPER. He had three brothers named THEOPHILUS, Reuben and Aaron. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 60 on February 4th, 1908.
