William? was born about May 1773 in Minehead, Somerset, England and his baptism took place in June 1773 in Minehead Parish Church.1  William?'s father was John James and his mother was Ann.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Michael, John and Ann.  He was the youngest of the four known children.
