Henry was born about May 20th, 1835 in Brompton Regis, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on May 20th, 1835 in Brompton Regis Parish Church, Somerset, England.1 2   Henry's father was George Holloway and his mother was Joan May?.  His paternal grandparents are John Holloway and Joan.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, George, William, Richard, Mary Anne, Charlotte, Joan, Betty and Charity.  He was the nineth oldest of the ten children.
