William was born in 1779 in Exford, Somerset and his baptism took place on March 14th, 1779 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.  William's father was William Gregory and his mother is Ann.  He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Elizabeth and Ursula.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  William is no longer alive.
