James Gooding

James was born about 1822 in Luckham, Somerset.¹ James' father was George Gooding and his mother was Joanna Parsons. His paternal grandparents were Simon Gooding and Betty Yondel. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Simon, John, George, Elizabeth and Joanna. He was the oldest of the seven children.
