Joaney? was born about 1780 and her baptism took place on June 13th, 1780 in Cutcombe, Somerset, England.1   Joaney?'s father was Robert Coles and her mother was Elizabeth How.  She had two brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James, William, Mary, Frances and Joney.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
