Jane was born about February 22nd, 1746.  Jane's father was Edward Western and her mother was Joan Larcombe. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Benjamin, George, Ann, Elizabeth, MARY and Sarah.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
