Jane Thorne

Jane was born about June 1st, 1837 in Murricombe Farm, Exford, Somerset and her baptism took place on June 30th, 1837 in Exford Parish Church, Somerset.¹² Jane's father was Richard Thorne and her mother was Elizabeth Skinner. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Thorne and Elizabeth Parkin. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, James, Betsey, Mary and Ann. She was the youngest of the seven children.
