Ella Ann Steer

Ella was born about November 1887 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ Ella's father was John Steer and her mother was Emma Catherine Brindley. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Steer and Elizabeth Cousins; her maternal grandparents were Charles Brindley and Ann McIntosh. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Edward, Thomas, Alfred, Frank, William, Lucy and Charlotte. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
