Bertram Ernest SAMMELS

Bertram was born on August 30th, 1897 in Wolborough, Devon, England.¹ Bertram's father was Joseph James Sammels and his mother was Fanny Maria NEWTON. His maternal grandparents were James NEWTON and Martha Colwell. He had a brother and three sisters, named Francis, Amy, Winifred and Ada. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 43 on January 14th, 1941.
