David RAWLE

David was born about April 1st, 1837 in Exford, Somerset, England and his baptism took place on April 6th, 1837 in Exford Parish Church, Somerset.¹ David's father was John Rawle and his mother was Mary POOLE. His paternal grandparents were John Rawle and Joan Taylor; his maternal grandparents were HUGH POOLE and MARY HOOPER. He had six brothers and a sister, named Jonathan, Edward, John, Thomas, William, James and Martha. He was the oldest of the eight children.
