Mary's father was John POOLE and her mother was Ann Jones. Her paternal grandparents were HUGH POOLE and MARY HOOPER; her maternal grandparents were William Jones and Anna Jones. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, William, John, Ann, Eliza, Anna, Prudence and Fanny. She was the fourth oldest of the nine known children. She died about June 1848.
