Charles Francis POOLE

Charles Francis was born about November 1898 in Bristol.¹ Charles Francis' father was Charles Thomas POOLE and his mother was Emma Amelia Godwin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas POOLE and Jane Sullivan; his maternal grandparents were Frederick George Godwin and Maria Hawker. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Albert Charles, William Thomas, George Henry, Frederick John, Nelly , Edith Maud and Beatrice Ethel. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
