JOHN NEWTON (Nuton)

JOHN was born about January 1740 and his baptism took place on January 17th, 1740 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹ JOHN's father was HENRY NEWTON and his mother was MELIOR WINSBURSON?. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Joan, Elizabeth, Mary, Agnis and Melior. He was the youngest of the eight known children. He had a half-brother named William. He died in 1807. He was buried on July 12th, 1807 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹
