Eliza NEWTON (Mudon)

Eliza was born about September 1st, 1813 in Exford, Somerset, England and her baptism took place on September 30th, 1813 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.¹² Eliza's father was WILLIAM NEWTON and her mother was BETTY or Elizabeth MELHUISH. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN NEWTON and JOAN TAR; her maternal grandfather was HUMPHREY MELHUISH and her maternal grandmother is Joan Baker. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Henry , William, ROBERT, Thomas, Mary and Ann. She was the seventh oldest of the eight known children. She died about November 1899 in Reg. Bromley, Kent.³
