Dinah Otten Howell

Dinah was born before March 4th, 1827 in Lympstone, Devon, England and her baptism took place on March 4th, 1827.¹ Dinah's father was William A. Slade Howell and her mother was Betsy Pine. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Ansdell, Handsworth, Melvin S S, Jesse , Fortunatus, Betsy, Sally, Susan and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.
