Betsy was born about October 1770 and her baptism took place on October 30th, 1770 in Exford, Somerset, Parish Church.1   Betsy's father is Thomas Greenslade and her mother was Mary Veysey.  Her maternal grandparents are Hugh Vesey and Elizabath. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Mary, Ann, Sarah and Honour.  She was the third oldest of the eight known children.  Betsy is no longer alive.
