Geraldo Pereira Lana was born on May 1st, 1942 in São José do Goiabal.  Geraldo Pereira Lana's father was ABEL MARIANO LANA (G6) and his mother was Madalena Pereira Lana.  His paternal grandfather was VICENTE_MARIANO DA COSTA LANA (G5) and his paternal grandmother is Maria José de_Souza; his maternal grandparents were José Tomaz Pereira and Maria Claudina Araujo Pereira. He had eleven brothers and eight sisters, named José Tomaz Lana, Vicente de Paula Lana, Bonifácio Mariano Lana, Ivo Pereira Lana, Antônio Tomaz Lana, Francisco Pereira Lana, Ermes Pereira Lana, Renato Pereira Lana, João Batista Lana, Evaldo Pereira Lana, Anésio Pereira Lana, Maria Madalena Lana, Seny Pereira Lana, Senira Pereira Lana dos Santos, Mª da Conceição P.Lana Pinto, Mª Aparecida P. Lana, Mª José Lana de Aguiar, Mª Claudina Lana and Mª Auxiliadora P. Lana.  He was the fourth oldest of the twenty children.  He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Falência orgãos, após queda escada e 36 dias no hospital., at the age of 65 on November 1st, 2007 in Governador Valadares - MG.
