Antônio Tomaz Pereira was born on February 8th, 1918.  Antônio Tomaz Pereira's father was José Tomaz Pereira and his mother was Maria Claudina Araujo Pereira.  His paternal grandparents are Raimundo Nonato Araujo and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and Antônia Ildefonsa Pereira. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named José Tomaz (Sizinho), Luiz Tomaz Pereira, Raimundo Tomaz Pereira, Joaquim Pereira, Antônia Ildefonsa (Antoninha), Alvira Pereira, Filocelina Pereira (Filó), Ana Pereira (Nitinha), Margarida Pereira (Guidinha), Madalena Pereira Lana, Maria Augusta Pereira (Mariquinha) and Zelinda Pereira.  He died at the age of 86 on August 2nd, 2004.
