Jo was born on January 4th, 1943.  Jo's father was Gilbert (Jack) James Stevens and her mother was Marion (Sally) Elle Gye.  Her paternal grandparents were Stevens and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Edward Gye and Lucretia Ethel Redstone.  She was the oldest of three children.  She had two brothers named Brian and Christopher.  She died at the age of 58 in 2001.
