Joseph was born in 1883.  Joseph's father was James Gye and his mother was Mary Anne Durnford.  His paternal grandparents were William Gye and Sophie Keyte.  He was the eighth of nine children.  He had two brothers and six sisters, named Jeremiah, William, Sarah, Florence, Elizabeth, Winfred, Emily and Hester.

ENA was born in 1911.

Sally was born on May 27th, 1914.  She died at the age of 86 in 2000.

She died at the age of 5.
